“Goose Mischief: When Feathered Friends Go Wild!”, reads the caption of the amusing clip, which shows several geese displaying their feisty side with humans, dogs, cats, and even goats and horses.
The hilarious video, posted on Instagram in mid-May, has already garnered over 1 million views, as well as over 38,000 likes and hundreds of comments from users who enjoyed the scene.
“Feeling sorry for the last goose,” shared one Instagram user. “The most fearless pet,” said another. “This is why it’s dangerous to approach a horse from behind,” wrote a third user.
According to Varment Guard Wildlife Services, geese have a bad reputation for a reason. They can become aggressive because they don’t like sharing their space with humans and other animals, and they attack anyone to protect their young.
Geese don’t care how big you are. They have no qualms about becoming aggressive with animals or humans of any size. Fortunately, although it’s common for a goose to chase a person, physical attacks are relatively rare.
