Henry, a Nile crocodile aged 123, is considered the oldest in the world. Born on December 16, 1900, in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, he stands out not only for his age but also for his impressive size of 4.8 meters and 750 kilograms.

Throughout his life, Henry has mated with six females and produced around 10,000 offspring, earning praise from biologists and environmentalists for his longevity.

Despite his current fame, Henry has a dark past. He became known for attacking and allegedly devouring children from a tribe in Botswana, which led the community to seek help. It was then that Sir Henry Neumann, a renowned hunter, captured the crocodile. Instead of being killed, Henry was sentenced to live out the rest of his days in captivity, a punishment deemed more appropriate than death.

Today, Henry resides at the Crocworld Conservation Centre in South Africa, where he has lived for over 30 years.
