The white-coated cat was rescued by an animal charity in Oman and now lives happily in her new home.
Moet was left locked in a dirty cage, without food, water, bed, or toys. Due to the mistreatment, she became ill and lost her sight. Rescued by the charity, the 6-year-old Persian cat had both of her eyes removed and received treatment.
Emily Shotter, from England, met Moet in 2014, six days after her surgery, and decided to take her home. The Persian cat became an internet star after her new owner started posting her photos on social media in 2018. Today, Moet has over 377,000 followers on Instagram, along with thousands of fans on Facebook and Twitter.
