“Cute or scary?”, reads the caption shared along with the clip, which has already accumulated over 2.7 million views, more than 43,000 likes, and thousands of comments from internet users who were impressed by the scene.
“Scary, absolutely scary. No, I definitely wouldn’t do that,” said one Instagram user. “They don’t scare me, but I don’t consider them as pets,” remarked another. “When the kid disappears, you already know where to look,” said a third internet user.
The video was originally shared by Munding Aji, located in Kebumen, on the island of Java, Indonesia. The content creator, boasting over 130,000 followers, shares shocking clips of people playing and interacting with gigantic snakes.
According to the website Reptile Knowledge, having a snake as a pet might not be a good idea. First, snakes will not be receptive to your affection. They are cautious animals that do not like to be held, touched, or petted.
