The hilarious video of a rooster masterfully fulfilling the role of an alarm clock is making internet users burst into laughter!

“My new alarm clock,” says the caption shared along with the clip, which has already received over 33 million views, in addition to more than 940,000 likes and thousands of comments from internet users who enjoyed the scene.
“He takes his job seriously,” said an Instagram user. “Worst alarm clock, you can’t hit the snooze button,” joked another. “What makes me laugh is the fact that the rooster legitimately looks at the person to check if they were sleeping,” commented a third.
According to a 2013 study conducted by researchers from Nagoya University in Japan, roosters crow at dawn because their biological clock can recognize the time.
In the research, scientists discovered that even roosters that were kept away from natural light sources still crowed just before dawn.
