The video of an owner who woke up his cat to say he’s super cute has gone viral on the internet due to the cat’s adorable reaction!
The clip, posted on the dedicated Instagram page for the cat named Ringo, shows the feline lying on what appears to be a couch. Within moments, the owner, from behind the camera, starts speaking to him, saying, “Excuse me,” a few times.

Ringo wakes up and looks at his owner with wide eyes, before the owner says: “Why are you so cute?”. The caption shared alongside the video is what the owner imagines the cat would say if it could talk. “Dad, did you wake me up from sleeping in your arms because you really didn’t know that?”, he joked.
The video was shared on May 7th and has already amassed over 8.8 million views, as well as more than 650,000 likes and thousands of comments from internet users who enjoyed the scene.
“Those eyes are priceless. Absolutely adorable,” one Instagram user said. “He’s like, ‘Are you serious… I’m sleeping!'”, another joked. “So cute. Looks like my boy,” a third user commented.
