Kurdish farmer and soldier Goran Surchi shared the video on TikTok, showing him approaching one of his hens in the coop and finding three tiny kittens nestled warmly under their “adoptive mother’s” wings.

“I had been hearing meowing sounds coming from our chicken coop for a while and was curious about what was happening, as I thought our hens might be in danger. When I realized the sounds were coming from under the hen, I decided to film to capture this unique moment. To my surprise, I found three beautiful kittens there,” Surchi told Bored Panda.
“Later, we found the kittens’ mother had unfortunately drowned in a pond near the farm,” the farmer explained. “It’s incredible how our hen seemed to understand the situation and decided to take care of the kittens.”
The video quickly went viral on social media, gathering over 580,000 views, 38,000 likes, and hundreds of heartfelt comments.
