The incident first came to light after being posted on Reddit under the username u/paulie07. The caption shared with the video reads, “My curious dog fell into my uncle’s grave at his funeral.”

In the clip, filmed by Paul Graham, the dog can be seen barking from the bottom of the grave during the funeral that took place in Auckland, New Zealand. Then, Guy Yelchich, the deceased’s son, jumps into the grave to rescue the little dog in a shocking scene.

The video, shared a few days ago, has already received over 51,000 upvotes and hundreds of comments from internet users who were astonished by the unexpected interruption by the little dog during the funeral.
