But have you ever wondered if there is any spiritual meaning to cats? And do the different colors of these felines represent different characteristics and gifts?
According to Yara Vieira, an esoteric consultant at Astrocentro, cats are not just pets; they are also spiritual beings, true mediums. “It is believed that these cats possess a very high spirituality, accompanied by the ability to see a world that we humans cannot even imagine,” she points out.
Protection
Due to their ability to see beyond, cats can easily identify whether someone’s energy is good or if it’s laden with negative energies and ill intentions. If someone with lower vibrations enters your home, your kitty will undoubtedly become more skittish and keep its distance from that person.
“On the other hand, if your kitty immediately goes to the visitor’s lap when they arrive, it’s a sign that this person’s energy is very good, and you can rest assured. In addition to alerting us about the energies of those who enter our home, cats also protect us from malevolent spirits while we sleep at night,” Yara adds.
Energetic Cleansing and Healing
Cats are also capable of performing energetic cleansing in their surroundings. Yara comments, “They are true energy transmuters; if a certain area of your house is more charged, your kitty will spend more time in that corner and will only leave once the negative energies have been transformed into positive ones. After this not-so-easy task, it’s very likely that they will sleep for several hours to recharge their energies,” she remarks.
However, if there is an excess of negative energy in the environment, cats may not be able to eliminate them completely, leading to the accumulation of fat in their bodies, even when their diet is balanced.
But the consultant reveals that cats don’t just remove negative energies from their surroundings: “They also help us with this task by staying by our side. Cats remove the bad energies and replace them with more positive ones, often in a process very similar to reiki. Likewise, if your kitty senses that you are not well physically or are about to become ill, it will stay closer to you, sometimes even sleeping more frequently on the affected area,” she concludes.
